Hello everyone! One thing I run off of Yahoo Sports here each year is the NFL Pool free of charge for fun and bragging rights! I invite all my friends again to play, as it's simple to draft and then set your team weekly during the NFL season to get the points to win!
1. Join my league. Either email me back, reply back or accept at
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/haru (Password is anime).
2. In any reply, also let me know what days of the week and times are best for you. If you can make a time I'll set later on for a draft via conference using Yahoo Messenger, we take it easy and draft that way on the set day.
If you CANNOT MAKE IT for the set draft day, you can instead send me a list of players you want to draft in order so long as you make sure to give tons of names for each position to guarantee your picks. Otherwise after submitted email/reply picks are done, I fill your roster up by positions still needed using the YAHOO RANKINGS.
3. Here's the positions you will be filling:
STARTERS:
Quarterback (QB) - 2
Wide Receiver (WR) - 3
Running Back (RB) - 2
Tight End (TE) - 1
WR/TE (W/T - so can be a spot for either position) - 1
WR/RB (W/R) - 1
WR/RB/TE (W/R/T) - 1
QB/WR/RB/TE (Q/W/R/T) - 1
Kicker (K) - 1
Defense/Special Teams (DEF) - 1
Defensive Lineman (DL) - 1
Defensive Back (DB) - 1
Linebacker (LB) - 1
Defensive End - (DE) - 1
Defensive Tackle (DT) - 1
Cornerback (CB) - 1
Safety (S) - 1
Defensive Player (D - Any of the above defensive positions) - 1
TOTAL STARTER SLOTS: 22
RESERVES (any position you wish) - 3
TOTAL: 25 slots max on a team
Injury Reserve spots = 5 max to hold onto a player who is hurt and placed on IR by Yahoo Sports and NFL. Does not count to the total slots allowed.
4. Each week you set your starting roster according to who is playing. As Commissioner I will send injury updates and tips on how to play each week. I also have the power to adjust rosters but ONLY will do so for injuries/suspensions if I see on time BUT I give you until the day before to do it on your own so you can pick your choice substitutes.
5. Each category a player is ranked on will then be calculated for points via their scoring system and you get a score each week overall from all of your starters scores combined. Season starts week 1 of the NFL and lasts all the regular season. You can adjust your rosters all season with trades (up to December 4th; league votes on decisions for trades) with other owners of teams, or use the waiver system to pick up free agents while dropping others.
SCORING SYSTEM:
QB only - Passing Touchdown = 4 points, Interception = -1, Sacks = -1, Passing Yards = 1 point per 25 yards passed
Rushing - Touchdown = 6 points, Rushing Yards = 1 point per 10 yards
Receiving - Touchdown = 6 points, Rushing Yards = 1 point per 10 yards
Kick and Punt Returning = Touchdown = 6 points, Offensive Fumble Return Touchdown = 6
Two Point Conversions = 2 points, Fumbles Lost = -2 points
Kickers only - Field Goal from 0-39 yards = 3 points, Field Goal from 40-49 yards = 4, Field Goal from 50 yards or more = 5, Point After Attempt Made = 1
Defense/Special Teams Only - 0 Points allowed = 10 points, 1-6 points allowed = 7 points, 7-13 points allowed = 4 points, 14-27 points allowed = 1 point, 28-34 points allowed = -1, 35 or more points allowed = -4,
Defense/Special Teams/All Defensive players Only - Sack = 1, Interception = 2, Fumble Recovery = 2, Touchdown = 6, Safety = 2, Block Kick = 2, Touchdown = 6, Tackle Solo = 1, Tackle Assist = 1
All positions - Return Yards = 1 point per 10 yards, Touchdown = 6
