It’s time for our annual Carnevale erotica contest!


This year, a Picture This theme was requested. You voted on the photo that you liked the most and chose… all of them! There was a 2-votes-each tie for the best photos of masked revelers from the Venice Carnival.


Choose ANY of the photos to use as a theme, inspiration, character, setting, color, or image in your erotica story. How you use the photo is up to you!

As always, voting will be blind, so stories will be submitted for posting on TheMasque.net via email to cis@themasque.net. She’ll get them posted anonymously on TheMasque.net as they come in, as well as keeping track of who created what. This contest is open for short stories only and may be either fanwork or original general erotica with any theme, any fandom, and in any genre. All authors and characters in sexual situations must be over 18. Please do not post your stories elsewhere until the contest has been voted on to keep it fair and anonymous. You may submit more than one piece to the contest. There is no word-count minimum.

All entries must be in by midnight PT on April 21, 2019.
