Hey all out there on the masque and Welcome to the Andy blogs .Hope you've all been keeping safe n sound out there and the heat wave my friends over in the US and Canada are experincing isn't getting worse and your all keeping cool .Apolgises to all pout there for not blogging in a while been a bit busy post World Cup so been taking a bit of a break from blogging but break time is all done so i'll be hopefully back to a more regular blogging schedule fingers crossed.So in the words of Doctor Who ...Alluenz to tonights blog.

So whats been happening in Andy's world lately.Well not a lot much has changed weather's still crud to freaking cold and wet somedays.Mom's still in hospital and on Wednesday we're having a family meeting to work out how to make things easier when she gets out hopefully in the next week or so.As my self goes I've got my next apointment with the cardiolgist next month on the 18th which hopefully will be good news and I'll get an idea about this blood anomaly I've got.Soccer season is nearly done which I'm mixed on but my body is looking foward to a bit of a break which may b e spent watching all the anime i've got to view in preperation for the Armageddon Pulp Culture Expo next month.After thats gone I may play a bit of summer soccer but we'll see as the way this years been going things change week to week.Hope to start writing again soon to as my muse is getting tweitching which is a good sign I think.


I guess thats all for now I'll be back again soon with another blog maybe a meme one or whatever takes my fancy.Until them you all take care out there folks and as always stay safe n sexy.

Hey all out there in the big wide World.Hope your all keeping safe n sound out there.Well July has jumped into August and its been a hot time for all my friends over in the US & Canada so best wishes to you all and hope the weather starts cooling down a bit if not I'll try to send you a bit of the cooling breeze's over from down in my part of the World.To my friends in the rest of the world hope the weather's been kinder to you all and that your keeping good to .

Onto tonights blog.

First off hows things been with Andy.Well slightly better as Mom came home today from the hospital and last week we had a family meeting which put in place things to help as look after her as her condition is now unresevisble and she'll get worse before she gets better.Its a relief to finally have an idea of what the situation is and to have steps in place but thats tempred by the fact my mother's health and mental state will worsen within the next few years.Its been a big strain especailly when you add it to my own health issues and it has made the previous 6 months not the easiet to bare.Hopefully things are about to get a little better so fingers crossed on that front.

Soccer is slowly drawing to an end with the team i've been coaching facing a big game which if we win could see us champions so to borrow a phrase its squeeky bum time.As for my own playing well the good is I happend to score a goal yesterday other than that its been frustrating and I've neither been happy or sad with how things have gone just tired I  guess so thank goodness we wrap up soon.


In other thoughts

-Everton have gone unbeaten in pre season yay though umm not keen on our new Away team kit its nice put hmm .Will do my ususal premership preview before the season starts

-Will go check out Scott Pilgram vs The World when it comes out in a couple of weeks .Thanks to Haru  for recomending.

-With soccer finshing up I'll get to writing again soon promise got a few ideas in devlopment so to speak.

-Two months to my Con the count down begins

Hey all out there in the big wide world hope your all keeping safe n sound.Hope the weather has been good for you all and that everything is keeping well.Its another Windy miserable day down in Andy's part of the world thankfully no rain yet though that'll be coming this weekend what joy.Anyways onto some brighter stuff in todays blog.


Andy goes to the movies.

Well today Andy went to the movies and saw a really great movie recomended to me by my good friend Haru called Scott Pilgram vs The World .

Now I won't spoil the movie to much for any people which is basically see's the title charcter facing off against the 7 ex's of the girl that he loves.I loved this movie mainly because its for the fanboy/girl in all of us and from the music right through to the visual effectes were outstanding.This movie might not be a big blockbuster but if you want to see a fun and really enjoyable movie this year I recomnded you see this one .You'll laugh maybe cry but at the end of it you'll be so glad you saw it.

Andy's Premiship Preview

Well 4 weeks after the World Cup finshed a lot of the players are back at their clubs after a brief rest and this weekend see's the start of what could be a very intriguing season in the premiership.Strangely its not quite been the frenzied transfer peroid that I and most expected.Its has been busy but not as much as the previous two years.The usual suspects should contest the the 4 champions league and 3 europa league spots for the rest the plan will be to keep clear of the bottom three and relagtion to the championship.So time to make my predictions for the coming season done this year not as a team by team comparsion but as a Andy predicts

In other news

-Soccer season is nearly done for me.Coaching wise there's a big game this weekend while playing wise my season is offiically done though going to be playing some 'friendly games' to end the season which means no rest for Andy yet.

-Mom's been home a couple of weeks now and am slowly adjusting to whats going round now.As for myself seeing my cardiolgist next wednesday hoping for some good news far as my health goes.

-Am going to be writing real soon have got inspired by a few things lately and got some projects in mind.

Hey all out there in the big wide world hope your all keeping safe n sound out there.Well we're near the end of another month as August draws to a close.Life's has felt pretty hectic lately and ol Andy has been stressed and a bit worn out it times and really needs a vacation or to take a mental health day anything to help me relax as its been pretty full on.


Where to start well 1st off I had my next cardilogist apointment last week and on that front all seems semi well.I've had my medicene added to as my B12  levels were down so got Frolic Acid pills added to my medicene plus have to get an injection every two weeks at the doctors o(ouch) as well as the blood tests it seems weekly i'm having to take (double ouch).Still on the plus side I;ve had no chest pains and have felt pretty okay so fingers crossed no more heart attacks for Andy for a long time. Mom's been back nearly  2 weeks and we're slowly adjusting to having nurse's come in each day to see to her needs.Still it's pretty tough adjusting to the fact her alizemer's is possibly going to get more noticable in the next 6 months and that doesn't make it any easier to deal with.Its been a trying time health wise this year and its a case or things will get worse before it gets better scenario.

Another thing thats got ol Andy a bit worn out is Soccer.Its been a disjointed,disorganised and ultimatly disapointing year.My team I coach is proably going to finsh thirdor forth  and we head into a plate/knockout match tomorrow having been wrecked by injuries and illness barely scarpping a side together.Still I'm semi hopefully that maybe we can pull something off. As for my own playing side I'm looking foward frankly to the end of the season as I've not enjoyed this season at all and sooner it ends the better.I've felt undermined at times this year as one week I;m good enough to start the next back freezing my behind on the subs bench. This came to a head last week and thats all I'll say on that as I'm trying not to dwell on it.


On the positive side of things I'm going to be starting to write again soon as with soccer being done I'll have some time to get down to writing some stories I've got on the backburner and in pre production planning.Also again must recomend if you can go see Scott Pilgram vs The World its a movie you'll love Andy says so lol.Things will be quiter til October when I'll be attending my Armageddon Pulp Expo conventaion labour weekend down here.I'll try and increase my blogging to in that time so please read and comment all and I'll endevour to do the same I promise.

Another Saturday Another Blog

Hey all out there in the big wide world.Hope your all keeping safe sound out there on a day where Mother Nature seems to be in a bad mood.As you may habe heard down in Andy's part of the world there was an earthquake registing 7.0 in the South Island around Christchurch at about 4.30 am.Good news is no casulaties as yet which is good so thoughts are with any folks that may know someone down there as well as people effected by the quake .Also thought to with folks in the US who got caught amidst Hurraicane Earl hope everything is safe and sound for you all.


Onto the rest of tonights blog.



Well soccer season offically ends today for Andy and not with a bang but a whimper.Its been if  I could summarize a winter of discontent has been season 2010.Coaching wise my teams seemed cursed by injuries and illness and ending up winning our last game by defult just seemed to sum up our year.As far as playing goes well considering I wasn't sure after my heart issues if I'd play again I could say getting back on the field was a goal achived.However after that I wouldn't call the season a success if anything its been one big frustration after another so I'm going to head intro an off season that may include summer soccer if I can get myself up not so much pyschially but mentally as at 28 years old the motavation to keep playing is wearing thin and I'm sick of all the BS that happens around soccer as far as I'm concerned.Maybe in 3 months time my motavation may be back but who knows.



So whats on tap for Andy in the next few months.Well apart from  the usual  end of year prizegivings my weekends will be free which means I can do more chat ,more writing and more fun for and with you lovely folks out there.I plane to go see some of the REEL ANIME movies that we're getting here so that'll mean Andy takes a day trip into the city via train which will be cool.Also might go see the Last Airbender movie when it comes out on the 30th of this month.Have to see if its as underwelming as most critcs have been saying.Then when October hits its all preperation for my annual pillgramage if thats the right word to the Armageddon Pulp expo 2010 on labour weekend which I wlll be attending all three days off. Also on the friday off that weekend I may be attending something for the 50th jubille of my primary school so will confirm ahead of time.In between all this I should be here if not getting my injections or blood tests so feel free to drop Andy a line and I'll get back to you all when I can.

Hey all first off big big aplgioses for not posting another blog here .As some of you will know from elsewhere I've had a lot of stuff happen in the last 2 years or so and I forgot I had blogs here so huge aplogy on my behalf.

Here to hopefully start things going is mt 2012 Armageddon expo con report .Enjoy.

Preview Night and Day 1
Well Armageddon 2012 started on a friday evening this year and dispite a little bit of rain around and a very cold gusty wind making it a lil bit chilly the preview evening seemed to go well. The annual Masqurade was moved this year to friday but I was able only bto go to the latter half of it this year as getting my silver gurest pass took a while and once again ol Andy got talked into purcashing a cosplay out fit (Can't say no lol) this year was a Itachi from Naruto Akatsuki look.Add to it the CM Punk WWE DVD and the I Dig Crazy Chicks shirt also WWE  and I made it to the last half of the Masqurade ball to hear two of the anime guest's bands before going out to catch the Burning Man which like the ball was moved to the friday
Day 1 and well it got off to a delayed start cause this year it starts at 10pm not 9pm like previous years so was a lil bit early still was good caught up with someone I met at last years event who rembered me and posed for a pic with her and got a hug to also I was cosplaying as Naruto again and did overal 4 pics I got asked to be in(yay).This day was a panel  view day starting with one on cosplay (unfortunatly the international cosplay guest didn't come maybe next year) after it was a panel with two of the voice actor guests then after a brief refuel for some food and drink it was off to the Little Kurioboh panel .This panel was great and I am definitly going to start checking a lot of his stuff on Youtube .Next it was to another Voice Actor panel but with a intresting twist as the guests answered the questions via music so that was fun.After a last walk round and doing my days spending (Another cosplay outfit this time Ichigo from Bleach complete with wooden sword and wig which I may cosplay in tomorrow) it was up to the last panel of the day a bloopers reel with the Director of DURARARA and Persona 4 .

Day 2
Well Day 2 got every con's foe wet weather turn fortunatly the crowd numbers were still huge and that there was a lot still going on.As for ol Andy welll their were two main objectives get autographs and attend panels so with this in mind I started my con mission. It began with the first of 3 panels on Voice acting and was very informative .After that it was to the signing area for some autographs and this year for the anime guests there were seprate lines with the longest being for the voice of Ichigo from bleach (due to weather I still went in my naruto cosplay if fine tomorrow may do Ichigo) .After this was done and I got some DVD';s signed,a CD and a few autograph cards it was back up to another voice actor panel which gave people I go at doing some I didn't go this time but read on faithful fans.After getting something to eat it was up to 3 back to back to back panels.First was the cosplay games which looked quite cool then the last Voice acting panel where again you could do some on a scene from an anime either Vampire Knight or DURARARA which I did playing the part of IZAYA from DURARARA in a scene talking to Shizuo .After a slow start it went not bad and I went okay as I got used to matching the voice flaps (is tough belive) .Lastly the day ended watching a R18 blooper real from LUPIN the 3rd which was hillarious.

Day 3
Day 3 awoke with the rain having dropped away and while still cloudy and a bit grey it was still a warm day to finsh this years expo. My plan today was simple pics with the anime WA guests,attend one last panel and get a few last day goodies . After doing a quick walk round and securing my tokens fot the pics I went and caught some wrestling which this year I haven't done as much as previously.But what I saw was good and they have a show next weekend which I hopefully will attend. After that it was to the pics with the VA's and I caught up with one of the artists I met at Overload last month and got some of her stuff which was cool.Then it was to my last panel with Little Kuriboh which was awesome difiently my favourite guest this year.After that with super Andy speed it was off to a concert which was a great way to conclude my time at this years expo and with one last goodie collecting it was off home.
Overall this year I REALLY loved Armageddon Expo not that I haven;t as it always one of the highlights of my year but this years felt really fun and it was cool to see all the fellow fans in cosplay and stuff having a great time. Thats my con activaties done for this year but fear not next years starts early in Janurary at the new event RONIN which fingers crossed I'll be attending so watch this space for future reports.
