•   Longtime WIKTT member and author, aprilgrey has written a note of advice On Getting Published on our social networking / workshop section The Portgo. It’s located in the Writer’s Guild forum. In other great news, April is published with stories in two anthologies out this year. •   Our annual recruiting drive is just about to start. Who Brought You ’08 is going to bigger and better – and certainly more profitable than before! We'll be posting the rules and regulations -- and the HUGE prizes for this year's Who Brought You? contest very soon on the Live Journal comm and all over the site. Keep an eye out for it! We like to make recruiting new authors and artists fun for everyone - and this year is going to be a blast.

•   In other publishing news, one of our other authors, Molly Wens – Sweetwitch, has a new story called Shelter from the Storm in e-pub format here: http://excessica.com/index.php/books/shelter-from-the-storm-by-molly-wens/ It’ll be available on Amazon in paper soon. One of Molly’s stories was featured on The Masque a couple of months ago and I can honestly say that it is so good that it made me cry – literally. There’s a synopsis of the story on The Portego as well.

•   Writers’ Workshop chat is on a new night this week. Sunday evening at 5 PST, Just Prowling (or one of his altered egos) will be hosting an open chat on writing problems, block and motivation. Right before that, at 4pm PST, is our Writers’ Block. That’s time allotted to just write. It isn’t a regular chat time, just where we can all get together in the same place, doing the same thing – concentrating on our writing. Of course, you’re welcome to throw questions out for answering and get instant betas/edits. Chat is in The Ballroom, accessible from both TM, TMP, and TWA.
