Alright another clue then. It IS a band, and as mentioned before, they're still active today in the music scene releasing music, but this song is from one of their older albums. Good luck!

Hey I struggled to guess all the others so bear with me.

OK another clue is that they mix genres but are generally rock. This song the lyrics are from has an awesome music video for it too, quite neat, almost nostalgic. Oh and the lead singer is a HOT guy IMHO. OK hope that helps! Give it a guess anyone!
